It went well because since it was just all a very long clip i could easily cut out bits i didn't need and also since he was singing out loud and not just miming could put the clip on par to the music with ease. he also wasn't shy which was a good thing as i've learnt from previous mistakes of not to use someone that is camera shy as it can make the music video boring.
At some points the singer often decided to start lip syncing before or after the music started so when it came to editing their were some minor problems such as shifting the music or clips from each other by mili-seconds. this was a problem because there was only one long clip and non shorter ones that could be used as back up.
